With a name like Sustainable Vine, we’re obviously committed to minimizing our environmental footprint. From fueling with biodiesel when available to donating to local environmental organizations, we constantly evaluate how we can become a more responsible business. Some of the current programs we are proud of include:

• Educating the public about sustainabie farming.
  
  
• Supporting local Sustainable Agriculture, Organic Agriculture, and Biodynamic Agriculture.
  
  
• Donating to local environmental organizations like the Environmental Defense Center, Community Environmental Council, the Central Coast Vineyard Team, and Surfrider Foundation.
  
  

• Supporting the makers of environmentally friendly goods like New Frontiers and GreenerPrinter.
  
  
• Using biodiesel in our tour vehicles when available. Wine tour vehicles don’t have to sacrifice comfort in order to be green. We’ve chosen a vehicle with class that also get 25 mpg running biodiesel. Our Mercedes Benz Sprinter Vans comfortably seat 9 passengers plus the driver and are an excellent environmentally conscious alternative to a Limo, Jeep, or Hummer.
