Summer Vineyard Brunches and Dinners

 

Join us amidst vineyard rows for a once-in-a-lifetime culinary adventure. Enjoy a gourmet meal alongside your chef and winemaker. Connect to handcrafted wines from the vines that surround you, paired with local, organic foods professionally prepared on-site. Vineyard Brunches and Dinners Include: Door-to-door transportation from the Santa Barbara or Santa Ynez areas, a locally and organically sourced gourmet meal prepared by a professional chef, premium wine pairings from grapes grown on-site, and knowledgeable industry experts to engage in discussion, all set within vineyard rows in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. Price is $150 per person. Space is limited to 18 people, smaller parties will be grouped together. Call for reservations or to inquire about additional dates for private events.

Scheduled Dates, Locations, and Menus:

Friday, July 15- Vineyard Dinner at Demetria Estate Winery- 4 pm pick-ups from Santa Barbara area, 5 pm pick-ups from Santa Ynez area.

Fresh figs, Serrano ham, and wild arugula

Fresh corn polenta, truffle oil drizzle & shaved parmesan

Seared Sonoma duck breasts, lavender honey gastrique, honeyed peaches, Romano beans

Hearts of butter lettuce, chilled walnuts, Cabrales blue, La Nogalera walnut oil & white balsamic vinaigrette

White Nectarine Galette, Rori's Organic ginger ice cream

Chef: Laurence Hauben. Born and raised in France, Laurence has lived in Santa Barbara since 1983. A pioneer of the local foods movement, she is the head of Slow Food Santa Barbara, owner of Market Forays Culinary Adventures, and the former Executive Director of the Santa Barbara Farmers Market Association. Her cuisine is built around superb ingredients sourced from trusted producers, prepared simply and served in a generous spirit of true hospitality.
